ESPN College GameDay has announced its destination for Week 7. The show will head to Eugene for Indiana at Oregon.

College GameDay was in Tuscaloosa for Week 6 ahead of the rematch between Vanderbilt and Alabama. It marked the show’s first trip to T-Town this year after making the trip for last season’s Georgia at Alabama game, when the Crimson Tide came away with a thrilling victory at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Now, the program will head to Autzen Stadium. A Top-10 showdown is on tap as Oregon takes on Indiana in Eugene.

College GameDay also made a surprise choice for celebrity guest picker for Week 6. Comedian and podcaster Theo Von made his selections on the desk alongside Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit. He has had a strong presence at Vanderbilt games this year and went viral for a bet he apparently made with Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia. Von picked Vanderbilt to win Saturday’s game, which ended with an Alabama victory.

However, Davis defended the choice while speaking with reporters. Though he understood others’ perspectives, he pointed out the fact Nick Saban is on the desk despite his Alabama ties. Davis also acknowledged the bet with Pavia – apparently for a date with the Vanderbilt quarterback’s mom – but said the segment is meant to be fun. That’s why Von was the choice.

“I don’t really know the update. I don’t know if Theo is dating Diego’s mom or if that’s real or not,” Davis said. “But if he is, I’m sure he can still make his picks and have some fun. And also, the crowd can have some fun going, ‘Boo, Theo Von. We don’t like it that you’re dating Diego Pavia’s mom.’ I’m being very tongue-in-cheek about it. We’re delighted to have Theo Von because he’s a big-time star. If there are some people who would prefer to see a former player, I understand that and they have a right to think that and I respect that. It’s understandable.

“But you’re also talking about one segment of the show where guys are picking games. If we knew the outcome of the game and we’re always right in our picks, we’d be living in giant palatial estates in arid regions. We would own Las Vegas. It’s fun. I love the fact that people are passionate enough to be unhappy about it. But at the same time, it’s fun. They’re picking games, and Theo Von is in the business of fun, for the most part. I understand, but at the same time, I think you take a half step back and kind of look at it, it’s okay. It’s really okay.”
