ESPN College GameDay: Lee Corso out today after medical situation
Lee Corso is not present on ESPN’s College GameDay. After waking up under the weather Saturday morning, Corso went to get checked out by a doctor and decided it was best for him to remain away from the game day festivities at Clemson.
“The great Lee Corso, a staple of his show, woke up this morning, feeling a little bit under the weather,” Davis said. “We went, made sure he had been checked out. But he’s feeling much better now, we’re happy to report, and also happy to say that at one point he told the doctors, ‘Yeah, I feel this way because I think Clemson was overrated.'”
The humor always shins through for the former football coach. The crowd at Clemson popped, too. Kirk Herbstreit added to Davis’ report, noting that Corso is, “never talking bad about Clemson again.” Typical Lee Corso humor.
Corso will look to get back on the College GameDay broadcast next week.
