ESPN College GameDay: Picks for Week 5, Notre Dame at Duke

History was made on Saturday, as ESPN brought College GameDay to Durham for a football game for the first time, ahead of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish taking on the Duke Blue Devils.

Lead by quarterback Riley Leonard, Duke has been one of the tremendous surprises of the 2023 season. The Blue Devils are a confident bunch, and the Fighting Irish are coming off a demoralizing loss to Ohio State, so they’ll be looking to rain all over Duke’s parade on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are looking to bounce back against the USC Trojans, while Jim Harbaugh and Michigan are headed to Lincoln to face Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. In the SEC, some huge showdowns are on the docket, including Florida at Kentucky, and LSU at Ole Miss.

Joining the fun on College GameDay this morning was none other than Ken Jeong, one of Duke’s impressive alumni, and possibly the funniest. You may know him from The Hangover trilogy, Community, Dr. Ken or The Masked Singer.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Duke Blue Devils: Herbstreit is calling the game, so no pick from him. As for the rest of the crew, Howard, McAfee and Jeong are riding with the Blue Devils, but Corso is a believer in the Fighting Irish.

USC Trojans at Colorado Buffaloes: Everyone is on the Trojans over Deion Sanders and Colorado.

Clemson Tigers at Syracuse Orange: Howard and Corso are predicting an Orange upset.

Florida Gators at Kentucky Wildcats: Corso and Herbstreit believe the Wildcats get the win.

Texas A&M Aggies at Arkansas Razorbacks: The Aggies are favored, but only Howard has them beating the Razorbacks.

LSU Tigers at Ole Miss Rebels: Everyone sans Jeong is a believer in the Tigers.

South Carolina Gamecocks at Tennessee Volunteers: Howard is the only one picking Spencer Rattler and the Gamecocks.

West Virginia Mountaineers at TCU Horned Frogs: Of course, McAfee is riding with the Mountaineers, but he’s the only one.

Kansas Jayhawks at Texas Longhorns: Jeong is the lone believer in the Jayhawks.

Illinois Fighting Illini at Purdue Boilermakers: McAfee and Jeong believe the Boilermakers defend their home field.

Michigan State at Iowa Hawkeyes: Only Howard believes Michigan State can go into Iowa and pull off an upset.
