ESPN College GameDay made history Saturday with an appearance out west at Cal, the first time the pregame show was at the Berkley campus.

Cal is set to host Miami Saturday night in primetime for a new version of after dark football: in the ACC this time. The usual crew was in attendance, but icon Lee Corso missed the show due to being under the weather.

Ahead of all the action taking place, the College GameDay crew locked in their Week 6 picks, with a raucous crowd of Cal fans behind them. Here’s what Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban, and Kirk Herbstreit, joined by Cal legend Marshawn Lynch, came up with for this weekend’s action.

ESPN College GameDay Picks for Week 6:

Virginia Tech at Stanford: In front of a Cal crowd, the College GameDay crew did not want to pick Stanford, opting for the Hokies. However, Herbstreit caused booing by picking the Cardinal. Lynch decided to put Herbstreit in a rear-naked choke for that. We’re not kidding.

SMU at Louisville: This one was unanimous, almost. Herbstreit saved the graphic again by being the only one to pick the Mustangs.

Air Force at Navy: This one was a little more split, with coach Saban picking his Midshipmen. Three picks for Navy, two for the Falcons.

Boston College at Virginia: Herbstreit loved saving the graphic again! He was the lone analyst to pick the Cavaliers in this one.

Texas Tech at Arizona: Lynch was the lone man to pick the Red Raiders. So don’t worry Texas Tech, you do have a believer today!

Michigan at Washington: Everyone picked the Wolverines in this one. So that’s either a sign of a blowout or the kiss of death, meaning the Huskies will win!

Rutgers at Nebraska: This one actually favored Rutgers on the road! Despite being a seven point underdog, the Scarlet Knights got three picks from the desk.

Iowa at Ohio State: They didn’t even do picks for this one! They almost skipped the segment. College GameDay is going with the Buckeyes.

UCF at Florida: This one was a bit surprising with the Gators reeling a bit. But more analysts opted for the Gators over the Knights on Saturday. This is a huge in-state matchup!

Ole Miss at South Carolina: Seems like South Carolina i sa popular upset pick today. Three picks for the Gamecocks to knock off Ole Miss!

Missouri at Texas A&M: This is another tough pick with Texas A&M hosting. But the desk favored the Tigers 3-2 in terms of picks. But this could be one of the games of the day.

Miami at Cal: They saved Lynch for last in this pick. Why not? It’s the best for last! After McAfee pumped up the crowd with his Cal pick, Lunch did the rest and picked his alma mater to pull off the upset of course. Then, Saban said Lynch should’ve gotten the ball on 4th and 1 during Super Bowl XLIX, which was a stunning loss for Lynch’s Seahawks.
