Back in Knoxville for the second time this season, ESPN’s College GameDay couldn’t have been anywhere else on Saturday.

While there was a bevy of options, one game simply stood above the rest — Nick Saban and the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the upstart No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers and Josh Heupel.

Both undefeated, the two SEC teams would have an inside track to the SEC Championship and possibly the College Football Playoff with a victory. There’s immense implications on the line, and there will be no love between the two programs when the first whistle blows.

Elsewhere, there’s no shortage of fantastic showdowns, with No. 10 Penn State traveling to Ann Arbor to take on No. 5 Michigan on Saturday, as well. Additionally, No. 4 Clemson will take their undefeated record to Tallahassee to face Florida State, while No. 7 USC and No. 20 Utah do battle.

Continuing, one of the most underrated games of the day is a battle of Big 12 unbeatens, with No. 8 Oklahoma State traveling to face No. 13 TCU. Both are looking for a history-making season, and could accomplish just that with a victory.

As you can see, there’s plenty of storylines to follow on Saturday for College GameDay. Here’s who Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and celebrity guest picker Peyton Manning have getting victories on Saturday.

College GameDay picks for Week 7:

Alabama at Tennessee: Arguably the biggest game of the season thus far, and definitely the biggest in a long time for the Volunteers. With a raucous crowd behind them, Howard, McAfee, Corso and Manning picked Tennessee, while Herbstreit is the lone believer in the Crimson Tide.

Penn State at Michigan: Most of the crew is on the Wolverines, but McAfee has the Nittany Lions pulling the upset.

Oklahoma State at TCU: In the monstrous Big 12 showdown between the Cowboys and the Horned Frogs, only Herbstreit believes Oklahoma State does enough to get the win.

NC State at Syracuse: They’re more than a basketball school — sans McAfee, the crew is on the Orange.

USC at Utah: In a huge Pac-12 showdown, Manning and Herbstreit have Utah getting a victory, but the rest of the crew are rocking with Lincoln Riley and company.

Mississippi State at Kentucky: Manning is the lone picker who believes in the Wildcats.

Minnesota at Illinois: McAfee and Herbstreit are going with the Fighting Illini, but everyone else is rowing the boat and picking the Golden Gophers.
