ESPN draft expert reveals NFL comparison for Broderick Jones

ESPN draft expert Matt Miller broke down Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Broderick Jones ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft. Miller thinks that Jones, a former five-star recruit, is going to be one of the best offensive linemen available in this year’s NFL Draft.
“A former five-star recruit, Jones emerged in his first year as a starter and became one of the nation’s best left tackles,” Miller wrote. “He has a level of toughness and strength to his game that’s hard to find, but he also shows the recovery agility and balance to compete with speedy outside pass-rushers. His game is raw given limited reps (19 starts), but his upside is through the roof. At 6-4 and 315 pounds, there might be arm-length questions, but his tape is Round 1-caliber. Jones allowed zero sacks this season for Georgia.”
Miller also compared Broderick Jones to Dion Dawkins. A key member of the Buffalo Bills since 2017, Dawkins has been named to the last two Pro Bowl teams.

Where will Broderick Jones be drafted?
Broderick Jones is one of the best tackles in the NFL Draft. The question is where ranks among his peers and who is going to draft him.
According to Mel Kiper’s latest mock draft, Broderick Jones is going to be taken 16th overall in the first round by the Washington Commanders. He’s one of two Bulldogs that Kiper thinks will be taken in the first round, down from five last season.
