It’s just been over a month since UConn was crowned as a national champion yet, in college basketball, the calendar keeps on moving towards the next March. That’s true as evidenced by the latest update to Bracketology from Joe Lunardi at ESPN.

Lunardi notes that not much has changed since his last update. As of now, he still has Duke as his No. 1 overall seed for the next NCAA Tournament. It’s not hard to see it that way either considering the returns of Kyle Filipowski and Tyrese Proctor and their No. 2 ranked recruiting class per On3’s Industry Rankings.

However, there have been plenty of changes throughout ESPN’s projected field of 68 considering additions and subtractions via the transfer portal. Considering the deadline to enter it is on May 11th, though, programs should soon be wrapping up that part of the process.

To end his update, Lunardi noted that several decisions will impact the next update to ESPN’s Bracketology. In the same breath as Hunter Dickinson committing to Kansas, he says additions like Zach Edey returning to Purdue or Oscar Tshiebwe coming back to Kentucky as moves that could cause even more shake-ups by the time of his next release.
