ESPN reveals updated bowl, College Football Playoff predictions following wild Week 12

Week 12 action saw multiple top-25 teams crack under pressure. The upsets impacted both the College Football Playoff and the overall postseason bowl picture. With much to analyze, ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach released their updated projections.

Although the No. 4 TCU Horned Frogs just barely clung to their CFP hopes, No. 5 Tennessee was not so lucky. The Vols got blown out by South Carolina, which shocked the nation and impacted the College Football Playoff projections. No. 7 USC also kept their hopes alive as they eeked out a 48-45 victory vs. No. 16 UCLA.

Elsewhere, No. 10 Utah (20-17 vs. Oregon), No. 13 North Carolina (21-17 vs. Georgia Tech), No. 14 Ole Miss (42-27 vs. Arkansas), No. 17 UCF (17-14 vs. Navy), and No. 24 Oklahoma State (28-13 vs. Oklahoma) lost on Saturday.
