It was a week full of upsets, and the AP Top 25 got turned on its head. Somehow, ESPN College GameDay analyst Seth Greenberg picked five teams of the week on Twitter on Monday.

In the top 10 alone, six teams — No. 1, No. 3, No. 6, No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9 — lost, which led to a different AP poll this week. Two of Greenberg’s top five teams pulled off those upsets, and another one moved up in the poll because of all the upsets.

Here’s who Greenberg ranks in his top five teams of the week.

Seth Greenberg’s teams of the week

Memphis

Memphis picked up a massive win over then-No. 6 Houston to end the week. The Tigers defeated the Cougars 69-59 on Saturday to improve to 14-8 overall and 8-4 in American Athletic Conference action.

In fact, since coach Penny Hardaway went on an expletive-filled rant after Memphis’ Jan. 20 loss to SMU, the Tigers have won five games in a row, including four straight by double figures. They’re also doing it without Emoni Bates, who’s been out with a back injury.

Villanova

Villanova has won 12 of its last 14 — losing twice to Marquette in that span — and finds itself a half game back of No. 8 Providence for first place in the Big East standings. The Wildcats most recently beat Seton Hall at home to improve to 19-6 overall and 12-3 in league play.

Rutgers

What a week for Rutgers, which has won three straight games — all over ranked opponents. The Scarlet Knights knocked off No. 13 Michigan State, No. 16 Ohio State and No. 14 Wisconsin last week to shake up the Big Ten standings even more.

Arizona

Arizona has been one of the surprise teams of the season. The Wildcats, under new coach Tommy Lloyd, went from unranked in the first AP Top 25 to No. 3 in this week’s poll and have won six games in a row.

Colorado State

Colorado State has won three straight games, but the biggest came over Boise State on Sunday. That knocked the Broncos out of first place in the Mountain West standings and put the Rams one game back of conference-leading Wyoming.
