ESPN updates bowl, College Football Playoff projections following Week 2

Following an exciting Week 2 of college football, ESPN has released their updated bowl projections, including their picks for the College Football Playoff.

“The schedule for Week 2 seemed tame enough, but when the teams took the field, we ended up with some wild results,” wrote ESPN. “Marshall over Notre Dame. Appalachian State over Texas A&M. Alabama squeaking past Texas by the narrowest of margins.”

Making the predictions for ESPN are college football reporters Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach. Most notably, Alabama’s narrow escape from Texas caused the duo to shake up their CFP projections. Although Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State are still the top three teams, but Bonagura and Schlabach have added USC and Clemson into the final four mix this week.
