4-star OT Ethan Calloway announces top 8 schools
Mooresville (N.C.) Lake Norman four-star offensive tackle Ethan Calloway has narrowed his list of top schools down to eight. The list includes Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Penn State and Tennessee.
Calloway is the No. 208 overall prospect and No. 15 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in North Carolina.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, LSU sits with the highest chance of landing a commitment from the 6-foot-7, 307-pounder.
Of the schools he listed in his top eight, Calloway has visited LSU more than any of the others with his latest visit coming on April 1.
This spring he’s also visited Auburn (March 3), Alabama (March 4), Florida (March 9), Florida State (March 11) and Georgia (March 18)
“It was a quick trip, but I spent a lot of time at the facility on Saturday,” Calloway told On3 following the Georgia trip. “Sat in on team and position meetings before practice and then watch the entire practice close up,” Calloway said. “I got to tour the facilities after practice and then met with Coach [Kirby] Smart and Coach [Stacy] Searels.”

Calloway’s trip to Florida was his second to Gainesville and first since the Gators hosted South Carolina. He spent multiple days there and noted how impressed he was with the visit shortly afterwards.
“It was really nice. I got to see a lot more than I got to see the first time,” Calloway told Gators Online. “They let me tour the business school, which was awesome because it was the first place I got to see as for an academic place. I got to see more of everything having to do with the athletics.
“Everything wasn’t so rushed because it was not a game day. I got to meet a lot more of the staff as well and my mom got to learn about the Gator Made program, like, how they take care of their players. I got to finally sit down with coach Napier and the offensive line coaches, so it was really nice overall.”
Ethan Calloway currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
