Florida wide receiver Eugene Wilson will be a game-time decision in Week 3 against Texas A&M due to an injury, per 247Sports Matt Zenitz.

Wilson was previously listed as “questionable” on the Gators-Aggies injury report during the week, and it appears his injury has lingered heading into gameday.

The Florida wideout caught six passes for 141 yards and a touchdown during the Gators 45-7 Week 2 win against Samford. He’s the team’s leading recever, having caught 13 receptions for 191 yards through two games this season.

His presence is needed, as the Gators are already down multiple players in the receiving room coming into the matchup.

Elsewhere on the injury front, Florida quarterback Graham Mertz was taken out of the season opener against Miami with a concussion. He missed the team’s subsequent Week 2 game against Samford, with freshman DJ Lagway earning the start but is set to return to play against the Aggies. Although, a heavy dose of Lagway is expected on Saturday.

Florida isn’t the only team coming into Saturday with a quarterback storyline. Texas A&M’s Conner Weigman appeared on the Aggies’ injury report this week dealing with an upper body injury. He’ll be reevaluated during pre-game warmups. If Weigman is unable to go, redshirt freshman Marcel Reed would likely get the start.

Reed was 5-for-11 passing for 71 yards against McNeese, and is a former four-star recruit for the Aggies.
