All Eye Test Team from the Under Armour All-America Game
This week saw around 100 of the nation’s top prospects head to ESPN’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando take take part in practices for the Under Armour All-America Game, which will take place at 2 P.M.
The week of practice presented the opportunity to see the dozens and dozens of blue-chip prospects side by side. We’ve already extensively covered how the prospects played on the field. We were also able to eyeball the prospects and get a gauge for how they stack up physically.
With that in mind here’s our All Eye Test Team for the week. This is not simply who looks biggest getting off the bus – but more so which prospects have the most advanced or projectable dimensions and builds relative to success at their respective positions.
RB Branson Robinson – Georgia
Georgia running back commitment Branson Robinson is a rocked up 5-foot-10, 220 pounds. The Madison (Miss.) Germantown product does not skip leg day. We see his physical traits show up on the field where Robinson shows the ability to bounce off defenders and run through tacklers at the second level. Robinson has been called “Atlas” – and it’s easy to understand why once you see him in person.
WR Adam Randall – Clemson
Adam Randall looks like an NFL wide receiver right now. He’s 6-foot-3, 215 pounds with significant muscle mass. Randall’s strength and athleticism make him one of the more dangerous receivers after the catch in the cycle. His build is even more impressive when you consider his late birthday. Randall will be 17 years old for his first semester at Clemson and is almost a year younger than several other top receivers.
IOL Neto Umeozulu – Texas
Neto Umeozulu is a powerfully-built, barrel-chested offensive linemen with outstanding length. The stature and length paired with his athleticism give him the ability to play either inside or at tackle at the next level. We’ve seen Umeozulu use his length and girth to control and anchor defensive linemen throughout the week.
OT Tyler Booker – Alabama
We have Tyler Booker ranked as an interior offensive lineman but he could easily play offensive tackle in college. Booker has legitimate positional versatility, in part to his broad, long build along with advanced technical ability. Booker is a burly 6-foot-5, 325 pounds with long arms that he uses to neutralize opposing defensive tackles and defensive ends.

EDGE Kenyatta Jackson – Ohio State
Along with Texas A&M signee Malick Sylla, Kenyatta Jackson Jr. has the most length among EDGE prospects in Orlando. What separates Jackson is his frame. He has room to add considerable mass, despite weighing in at 238 pounds in the off season. The Ohio State commit has plenty of room to be a lean 250-plus pounds.
DL Anthony Lucas – Texas A&M
Even though we didn’t see Anthony Lucas take as many reps as most other defensive linemen this week, it’s obvious that the Texas A&M commit stands out from a physical perspective. Lucas will need to ramp up his physicality at the next level, but the dimensions and movement skills are undeniable. He’s a fluid athlete at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds with a 7-foot wing-span.
LB Jihaad Campbell – Alabama
As we mentioned in yesterday’s Top Performers, Jihaad Campbell may have the best frame relative to position of any prospect in attendance. The Alabama signee is one of the taller linebackers in attendance at somewhere between 6-foot-3 and 6-foot-4. He has plus arm length and massive hands. Campbell is probably in the 215 to 225 pound range and has room to add considerable mass once he gets in the Crimson Tide’s strength program. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Campbell eventually grow into an EDGE defender with his frame, which is why he’s ranked as such.
CB J.Q. Hardaway – Cincinnati
J.Q. Hardaway was the tallest and longest cornerback in attendance from what we saw. The Cincinnati pledge looks to be a legitimate 6-foot-3. We’ve seen Cincinnati target and develop tall boundary corners under Luke Fickell. Hardaway certainly fits the bill.
S Jacoby Mathews – Unsigned
Jacoby Mathews barely edges out Zion Branch for the safety spot. Mathews was the On3 MVP on day three of practice and turned in a strong week overall. He’s a well-proportioned 6-foot-1, 195 pounds with long arms. Mathews has measured with measured with 33-inch arm and a 6-foot-6 wingspan on several occasions. That length, movement skills and instincts were on display this week in Orlando. Mathews is set to make his decision in February and has a top five of Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida and Texas.
