NAPLES, Fla. – Some of the top 2025 prospects got together this week to compete in the FBU All-American game.

On3 attended one of the practices and the game to put an early eye on many 2025 prospects we will be covering in the years to come. Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons met many of the athletes that competed in this game and he has some recruiting notes.

Winston Watkins, Jr. commits to Texas A&M

The story of this year’s event was the first-ever commitment at the FBU All-American game. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy athlete Winston Watkins, Jr. was offered by Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M over the summer and he committed to the Aggies before kickoff Monday evening.

Watkins also had offers from schools like Florida, Florida State, and Georgia Tech.

Omari Gaines has early offers

Sparta (NJ) Pope John XXIII cornerback Omari Gaines passes the eye test. He is a long 6-foot-2, 165-pound cornerback that plays with confidence. He has already picked up offers from the likes of Ole Miss, Syracuse, and Temple.

Oklahoma is his dream school. Alabama, LSU, Penn State, and Rutgers are other schools the freshman that finished with 40 tackles and 8 pass break-ups hopes to hear from.

Expect the offer list to grow for OL David Sanders

David Sanders of Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day offensive tackle will have a lot of eyes on him in the coming months. At 6-6, 235-pounds with long arms and great bend, Sanders stood out to me.

He has already picked up offers from East Carolina and Michigan. He attended games at South Carolina and Virginia Tech this fall. Expect many more to invite him to games next season.

Donovan Johnson is a hot name coming out of FBU

On the last day of practice, UCF offered Savanhan (Ga.) Calvary Day athlete Donovan Johnson. In the game Monday, he played running back and linebacker, flashing at both, so he is a true athlete.

The 6-1, 195-pound freshman was one that coaches raved about at the conclusion of this event. He also has an offer from Gardner Webb. Schools like Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, and West Virginia have begun to follow Johnson on Twitter.

Cameron Sparks looks to be one of the best in Tennessee

If you want to talk about one that caught a lot of eyes, it was Cameron Sparks. The 6-4, 205-pound athlete of Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School worked out a wide receiver but could project at numerous positions on either side of the ball.

Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, and Virginia Tech have offered Sparks. He attended the Ole Miss game in Knoxville this season and the Vols offense stood out to him.

Davi Belfort is a quarterback with big offers

Alabama, Arizona State, FAU, Florida State, Miami, and Oregon have already offered Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard quarterback Davi Belfort.

The Crimson Tide and Ducks stand out to Belfort early. He camped at Alabama and really likes their offense and offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien. New Miami head coach Mario Cristobal offered Belfort at Oregon and the two have been in communication already.

Schools like Georgia, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and USC are also on Belfort’s radar.
