Five-star Plus CB Travis Hunter flips from Florida State to Jackson State
Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill senior cornerback Travis Hunter was compared to Deion Sanders throughout his high school career. He was set to play on the same field as Sanders at the college level.
He’ll get to learn from him personally over the next few years as he will be playing for Jackson State University and not Florida State, Sanders’ alma mater.
Hunter committed to Florida State back on March 3, 2020. He has stayed true to his commitment to the Seminoles despite the best efforts by multiple programs. Hunter took two visits to Georgia during the football season sparking speculation that Georgia was going to be the team that made a run late in Hunters’ recruitment.
Jackson State made a quiet but calculated run at the nation’s top player.
Yesterday, Sanders teased on his Barstool podcast that he was going to ‘shock the country’ on National Signing Day.
