Nashville Christian quarterback Jared Curtis (2) drops his arm angle down to make a pass around Fayetteville defenders during the first quarter of their TSSAA football game Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 at Nashville Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee.

The No. 1 ranked quarterback in the 2026 class has one team out in front.

Nashville (Tenn.) Christian School five-star Jared Curtis made big news last Thursday when he announced his decommitment from Georgia.  His recruitment is still early in the process, but he tells On3 that the Oregon Ducks are out front.

When asked who leads, Curtis said, “My interest in Oregon is above the others right now,” the 6-4, 225 five-star added, “It’s my relationship with coach Stein and coach Lanning.  It’s great and we had a great time when we went up there.”
