Another June commitment pushes Florida inside Top 25 of On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

Florida entered the month of June with two commitments in its 2026 recruiting class. It now has eight commits and a class that ranks inside the top 25 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
After returning to Gainesville for the second time in the span of a month, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star running back Carsyn Baker committed to the Gators on Friday evening. He chose UF over Florida State, Clemson, Ohio State and others.
The addition of the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder vaulted Florida from No. 27 to No. 20 in the team rankings. Baker is the third blue-chip win of the month for head coach Billy Napier and Co.
“The brotherhood really stood out to me. That was a big part of my commitment,” Baker told On3’s Chad Simmons. “I the the guys on the team, how they work with the coaches and there is a great vibe at Florida. The staff is great, they always make me feel welcome and I feel I can make a big impact there. It is a great place for me to be.”
Baker is the No. 135 recruit and No. 10 RB in the On300.
Gators stay hot with commitment from Baker
Florida has now seen commitments come from each of its last three visit weekends. The momentum picked up on June 1 with a pledge from Ocala (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star interior offensive lineman G’Nivre Carr.

Two days later, Milton (Fla.) four-star safety Kaiden Hall joined the fold. According to the On300, Hall is the No. 15 safety and No. 22 player in the Sunshine State this cycle.
“Napier has Florida on the right track, and everyone is bought in,” Hall told On3. “Last season the team could have quit, but they team came together and didn’t fall apart. It means a lot how they responded. I want to win and Florida is on the right track to do that.”
Last weekend saw Gainesville F.W. Buchholz four-star wide receiver Justin Williams, Saint Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood three-star offensive tackle Chancellor Campbell and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star tight end Kekua Aumua pledge. Williams is another On300 outlier, checking in at No. 150 overall and No. 18 at the receiver position.
The class is buoyed by Tampa Jesuit four-star quarterback Will Griffin. He’s been pledged to the Gators since last June and is now the No. 17 QB in the cycle. He rounds out the class alongside Cleveland Glenville three-star defensive lineman Jamir Perez, who committed in May.
