Florida lands a commitment from four-star WR Marquez Daniel, talks pledge to Gators

Tuskegee (Ala.) Booker T. Washington On300 receiver Marquez Daniel has committed to Florida during his official visit to Gainesville.
The four-star Daniel chose the Gators over Auburn, North Carolina, Miami, Arkansas and North Carolina.
”What makes Florida stand out to me are the coaching staff,” Daniel told On3. “Coach Napier is really a great coach. Told me from day one that I will be a great student-athlete and he believed in me.
No program recruited Daniel harder and he loves his potential playing for Napier and the staff inside The Swamp.
“The love they have been showing,” Daniel said. “I really love it, Coach Lucas and Coach Gonzales are great receiver coaches, I believe in them to make me better at the next level and really appreciate them for trusting me.”

“I really love the atmosphere and the environment at the Swamp, Daniel said. “With all that’s been stated for the next three to four years I will will be taken my talents to University of Florida. Go Gators.”
Daniel is tabbed by the On3 Industry as the nation’s No. 23 receiver and No. 162 prospect overall. He is the second On300 prospect to commit to Florida this weekend joining speedy running back Carsyn Baker.
Florida had On3’s No. 20 ranked class prior to his commitment. They are pushing to finish in the Top 10 two cycles in a row.
Daniel is commit No. 9 for Florida in 2026.
