Dallas Wilson

Tampa Bay Tech five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson is the No. 2 receiver in the 2025 recruiting class.

Currently, he’s committed to Oregon. However, the home-state Florida Gators are pushing hard to land Wilson heading into Wednesday’s National Signing Day.

Wilson is set to put pen to paper at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday and is expected to choose between Oregon and UF.

Tuesday night, Florida standout true freshman quarterback DJ Lagway posted a photo, tagging Wilson, that reads ‘WE WANT DALLAS’ and is captioned ‘The future in Gainesville is bright.’

Wilson has been committed to Oregon since January 2023, but has taken visits to Florida, Miami and Florida State since pledging to the Ducks. His official visit to Florida came just last month on the penultimate week of the regular season after unofficially visiting for the Gators’ win over LSU.

“We had a great conversation,” Wilson said of meeting with Billy Napier after the unofficial visit. “It was a 20-minute conversation we had. He was just telling me how bad he needs me, how I’d be a good fit for Florida, how I’d fit in the passing game, and how I’m a good run-blocking receiver, big, physical, electric.”

Wilson is the nation’s No. 19 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 2 wide receiver in the class and the No. 3 recruit from the state of Florida.

On3’s scouting and rankings team writes this about him as a prospect.

“Twitchy wide receiver with the ability to win at the catch point and some of the best after-catch ability in the cycle. Measured in at 6-foot-2.75, 193 pounds with 32.5-inch arms and 10-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. A good athlete who runs well in the combine setting. Shows a well-rounded skill set on Friday nights. A functional athlete who has a noticeable bounce in his movement. Shows quick feet with the ability to cut on a dime. Physical and flashes strong hands at the catch point. Attacks the ball in high-point situations. Outstanding after the catch.

Sticks his foot in the ground and gets upfield quickly. Has great contact balance and breaks arm tackles. Dangerous when working underneath and over the middle of the field. Caught 49 passes for 879 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. Will need to continue adding polish to his game. Projects as a versatile X receiver with the ability to threaten all areas of the field.”
