Florida transfer Keyontae Johnson down to four schools

Florida graduate transfer Keyontae Johnson tells On3 he’s down to four schools: Western Kentucky, Kansas State, Memphis, and Nebraska.
The 6-foot-6 wing officially visited Kansas State and Western Kentucky in July. According to On3’s Jamie Shaw, Nebraska will host Johnson on campus beginning today, August 17th.
Johnson has not played a game since December 12, 2020, when he collapsed during a game due to a heart issue. At that point, Johnson was projected as a first-round NBA Draft pick.

Keyontae Johnson’s last full season at Florida was 2019-20, where he averaged 14.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals. Through his four games in 2020-21, Johnson averaged 16.0 points and shot 64.1 percent from the field.
As things stand now, expect a commitment to come within the next seven days, soon after he completes his visit to Nebraska. He does not currently have plans to visit Memphis; however, they are working to get him on campus prior to his commitment.
