With expert predictions in from Gators Online’s Corey Bender and Keith Niebuhr, Florida is trending to land the commitment of Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney three-star cornerback Teddy Foster according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

With those picks in, Florida sits at a 97.7% chance for Foster with no other school above 1%. Bender entered his pick in June with a confidence level of 70%. While Niebuhr entered his at the start of July with a confidence level of 60%. He announced his top-three schools of Florida, Miami and North Carolina.

“On that official visit, Gators coach Billy Napier apologized for the fact Florida was a little late in offering,” Niebuhr wrote about Foster’s visit to Gainesville. “Foster wasn’t upset about it. But meanwhile, Foster also liked what he saw in North Carolina, which had been on him early and had a secondary coach he knew well. Those two schools emerged from the pack, but both Miami and Southern California attempted to get Foster in for an official visit. Neither, however, could make that happen.”

Foster to commit Friday night

Foster plans to commit 7 p.m. ET Friday on his Instagram

“I mean, right now, they are kind of stuck into a good position,” Foster told Gators Online in June. “I was really under-recruited by Florida schools, so picking up Florida was big for me. It’s a big SEC school, and then just being close to home and stuff like that, it was a happy shock because I have the chance to stay home and play SEC ball.

“UF made me put another perspective on it. I look at it as being able to stay home, stay close to the family and play some big-time football.”

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Foster is the No. 675 overall prospect and No. 67 cornerback in the 2024 according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 91 player in the state of Florida.

Foster currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.5K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
