More on Florida vs. Alabama
The Florida Gators need to find a marquee win if they want to make the NCAA Tournament. After all, according to the latest Bracketology, the Gators are among the first four out right now. The Alabama Crimson Tide could prove to be that marquee win, as they’re currently listed as a probable one-seed.
Still, even with the motivation, it will be difficult for the Gators who have a 13-10 (6-4) record to beat the Crimson Tide with their 20-3 (10-0) record.
“Florida’s a very good team that’s getting better and better. They’ve got a new coach, got a new system that took them a little longer to, I’m sure, learn the system they want to put in. But they know what they’re doing over there, and they’ve got players, and they’re playing their best basketball right now. So this is not gonna be an easy win at all,” Alabama head coach Nate Oats said.
“We’ve got to play better than we did Saturday.”
