Florida is set to host former head coach Mike White and his Georgia Bulldogs in an SEC matchup on Saturday afternoon.

It’s the second time White will return to Gainesville as an opposing coach since he left the Gators in favor of the Georgia job before the 2022 season.

“This is going to be a tough game tomorrow,” Florida head coach Todd Golden said Friday. “He’s going to have his team ready to go, coming back here. Obviously, there’s an extra added element for him coming back here and we got to be ready to go.”

The Gators (3-3 in SEC play) need a victory over the Bulldogs (4-2 in SEC) to remove themselves from the middle of the pack in the conference through seven games. Meanwhile, Georgia can separate itself into the upper tier of SEC teams as one of the only teams with five conference wins to this point in the season.

Odds for Florida vs. Georgia

Coming into the game, Florida is an 8.5-point favorite over Georgia, per FanDuel Sportsbook. The Gators are currently listed at -360 for the moneyline as of Saturday morning, while the Bulldogs are sitting at +290.

The point total for the game is set at 160.5 points. Florida comes into the game averaging 84.5 points per game, third in the SEC, while Georgia averages 76.2. Combined to equal 160.7 points per game, Saturday’s conference battle has the potential to be a one of the SEC’s most high-scoring matchups of the afternoon, although the over might be in jeopardy if the two teams end up scoring close to their average.
