Kokoma (Ind.) High five-star center Flory Bidunga is down to four schools, he tells On3. Moving forward, the 6-foot-9, 215-pound rising senior will consider Auburn, Duke, Kansas, and Michigan

Bidunga has taken official visits to each of his finalists. He currently doesn’t have a commitment date but would like to make a decision before the start of his senior season.

Along with his four finalists, Bidunga also received offers from Kentucky, Florida, Indiana, Cincinnati, Purdue, Michigan State, and others.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Bidunga is the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 1 center prospect and the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Scouting Report

“Flory Bidunga is a physical specimen. At 6-foot-10, he has long arms, broad shoulders, and a lot of burst. He is an excellent shot-blocker, both on the ball and from the weak side. He has natural timing and can get up to the square quickly, even through contact. Bidunga runs the floor quickly and purposefully. He can push the break with his handle but does not get too deep and out of control. The jump shot extends out to about 10 feet, so we would like to see him work on stretching that out some. But he has touch as a roll man to finish with floaters and short corner jumpers. He needs to improve his free throws as he gets to the line a lot. Offensively, Bidunga has a good IQ; he is smart in dribble hand-offs and can post wide and deep on the block. If help comes, he is able to find the open man and deliver a good pass. He is a good offensive rebounder. Bidunga is left-hand reliant, but his IQ and explosion allow him to get away with that for now. Physically, he is like a college upperclassman and is already one of the premier explosive athletes in high school basketball.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw

Bidunga’s NIL Valuation worth over $500K

Flory Bidunga currently holds a $530,000 On3 NIL Valuation, which ranks 14th in high school basketball.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.

The On3 NIL Valuation accounts for an athlete’s roster value and brand value. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. Brand value factors in an athlete’s personal brand and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.
