As a redshirt sophomore this past season, Billy Barlow was 6-1 with a 4.28 ERA. He struck out 42 batters in 48 1/3 innings pitched.

Billy Barlow spent three seasons at Clemson, before entering the transfer portal. He signed with Clemson ahead of the 2022 season after earning all-state honors while playing at North Myrtle Beach High School.

As a freshman in 2022, Barlow was 2-4 with a 4.84 ERA. He appeared in 17 games, making 15 starts for the Tigers.

In 2023, Billy Barlow appeared in three games, making one start. He was 0-1 with an 8.10 ERA. Barlow missed most of that season with an injury and received a medical redshirt.

He had a nice bounce-back year in 2024, making 15 appearances, including 10 starts. Now he is off to pitch for Kevin O’Sullivan and Florida. The Gators had a difficult regular season in 2024 but got hot at the right time, winning the Stillwater Regional and Clemson Super Regional to advance to another College World Series under Sully.

Clemson infielder Nolan Nawrocki enters NCAA transfer portal

Elsewhere with the Clemson baseball program, another player is on the move. Clemson is losing a part-time starter to the transfer portal as infielder Nolan Nawrocki has entered the portal, On3 has learned.

Nawrocki appeared in 36 games this past season as a redshirt freshman, making 34 starts.

The New York native hit .264 with four home runs and 24 RBIs in 2024. He tied for the team lead with 11 stolen bases.

Nolan Nawrocki helped Clemson to a 44-16 record this past season. The Tigers advanced past the Regional round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010 this year, before falling to Florida in a super regional.
