Former Kentucky, Ohio State transfer Aaron Bradshaw commits to Memphis

Former Ohio State big man Aaron Bradshaw has committed to Memphis out of the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Joe Tipton has now confirmed. Bradshaw played one season with the Buckeyes after beginning his career at Kentucky. He will have two years of eligbility remaining.
Bradshaw appeared in 22 games for Ohio State during the 2024-25 season, making five starts. He averaged 6.0 points and 2.7 rebounds on 49% shooting from the field during his lone season in Columbus.
These numbers were improved upon from his production as a freshman under John Calipari at Kentucky. Despite playing in more games (26) with the Wildcats and even logging more starts (10), Bradshaw averaged just 4.9 points per game.
One of the biggest improvements in Bradshaw’s game at Ohio State compared to his freshman year at Kentucky was his free throw percentage. He went from being a 57% free throw shooter during the 2023-24 season, to a more reliable 74.2% as a sophomore this past year.
Now, he’s set to join head coach Penny Hardaway’s roster in Memphis fresh off an AAC Conference Championship victory, which is the second in three years for the Tigers. This earned them a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament. However, the banged up Tigers ended up being upset by the 12-seeded Colorado State Rams in the first round of the tournament.
