Former Miami defensive lineman Thomas Gore has upcoming transfer visits with Tulane and Georgia Tech, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Gore started his career at Georgia State before spending one season at Miami (2023). So far, he’s garnered decent interest in the portal.

Once with the Hurricanes, Gore began to contribute right away. He played in all 13 games, finishing with 8 tackles, 4.0 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks and two forced fumbles.

Those numbers didn’t quite match his production at Georgia State, where Gore put together very solid 2021 and 2022 seasons.

In five years in college, Gore recorded 101 tackles, 26.0 tackles for a loss, 13.0 sacks and four forced fumbles. He’ll be looking to carry over that productivity to a new school, almost certainly one where he can get on the field right away given his declining eligibility.
