Temple is set to add a former Virginia Tech assistant to its offensive staff.

The Owls are expected to hire Jafar Williams as pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach, sources tell On3.

Williams, a former standout wide receiver at Maryland, was Justin Fuente’s wide receivers coach at Virginia Tech the last three seasons.

Before Virginia Tech, Williams was the running backs coach at Maryland (2018), wide receivers coach at Rutgers (2016-17) and running backs coach at Purdue (2013-15).
