This was Washington’s second go-round with the transfer portal. He originally started his career off at Georgia and was a part of their second national championship run for the 2022 season. At Georgia, he saw action in one game with the Bulldogs against the Bulldogs of Samford University. Washington would be credited with one assisted tackle in the contest.

At Louisville, Washington played in all 14 of the Cardinals’ games. However, he was primarily used on special teams, logging 132 special team snaps.

Washington played his high school football at Grovetown High School and Grovetown, GA, a small town just West of Augusta. He would commit to playing for Kirby Smart at Georgia during the summer of 2021 as a member of the 2022 recruiting class. Washington was an elite four-star prospect with a 94.1 rating. He was a top 300 recruit, ranking No. 110 nationally.

Additionally, he was also ranked No. 14 among cornerbacks and No. 10 in terms of talent coming out of Georgia in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
