Four-Star ATH Derick Smith commits to Alabama
Four-star athlete Derick Smith of Selma (AL) Southside High announced his commitment to Alabama.
The 6-foot-1, 185 pounder chose the Crimson Tide over Auburn, Georgia, and others.
In 2023, Smith totaled 46 receptions for 1,487 yards and 14 TDs. He also added 1,036 yards and 9 TDs on the ground in his junior campaign.
The Yellowhammer State athlete joins coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide’s top 12 2025 class. He is accompanied by four-star running back Anthony Rogers, three-star linebacker Myles Johnson, and others.
