Four-star ATH Khai Prean names top four schools

Belle Rose (La.) St. James four-star athlete Khai Prean revealed the top four teams in contention for his commitment Tuesday afternoon.

They are Auburn, Florida State, LSU and Mississippi State. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race between Auburn and LSU to land Prean’s pledge. LSU has the highest odds at 59%, while Auburn is close behind at 40.4%.

The 6-foot-0, 188 pound athlete has visited both Auburn and LSU three times unofficially. He has an official visit to Auburn planned for Sept. 16.

Prean is the No. 196 overall prospect and No. 8 athlete in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
