Four-Star CB Ify Obidegwu names Top 7

Four-star cornerback Ify Obidegwu of Baltimore (MD) St. Frances Academy has narrowed his list to seven schools— Alabama, Ohio State, Maryland, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, and USC. 

The 6-foot-2, 190 pounder quickly discussed his finalists.

Alabama: “Nothing like competing for a natty every year with Nick Saban himself coaching me.” 

Ohio State: “They are DBU no question about it.”

Maryland: “Some say that it’s no better place to do it then your city.”

Michigan : “The SFA to Michigan pipeline is crazy and very strong. Why not keep it going?”

Oregon: “They have always been a dream school of mine growing up.”

Tennessee: “They are just beginning what coach heupel has in the future coming is special.”

USC: “The Cali vibes are insane and as a east coast boy being on the west coast I can say I can get with that for sure.”

Obidegwu ranks as the No. 163 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 15 cornerback and the No. 6 player in the state of Maryland.
