Four-star CB Jahlil Florence down to Oregon and USC
San Diego (Calif.) four-star cornerback Jahlil Florence has narrowed his list to USC and Oregon, he tells On3.
The 6-foot-2, 180 pounder decommitted from Oregon on December 9th.
Florence plans to announce his commitment on January 31st. The No. 71 player in the On300 had to say this about each school.
“My top 2 schools are the University of Oregon and the University of Southern California,” Florence said. “The University of Oregon made my top 2 because of the relationship that I’ve built with the Oregon coaching staff. The coaches constantly remind me that I’m a priority to the program. Oregon has always been a childhood favorite of mine, and I’ve always dreamed of playing at Autzen Stadium.”

The University of Southern California made my top 2 because of many of the same reasons,” Florence said. “Coach Lincoln Riley and Coach Donte Williams are building something special at the university and constantly let it be known they want me to be a part of it. USC is close to home and being close to family is something I think about a lot.”

Showed off his ball skills with five interceptions as a senior. Has plus long speed, often running under 11 seconds in the 100 meters. Performed well against top receivers in game situations.
