Four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley of Tampa (FL) Catholic High narrowed his list to three schools, and set his commitment date for Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 185 pounder is down to the following: Alabama, Michigan, and Florida.

Grimsley discusses finalists

Alabama Crimson Tide: Bama is a great school. They produce at all positions. Nick Saban is hands on with the DBs and they have great history putting DBs in the league. They will be a top program for years to come and they are consistently always in championship contention.

Michigan Wolverines: Michigan is a great school academically.  They are the current Big10 champs and have been for the last two years.  They have a chance this year to do something special this year and the program keeps getting better and better.  Also have a great track record for putting their players in the league.

Florida Gators: Florida is close to home, and has been my dream school since I was a kid.  I like the direction they’re going in with their rebuild and the weather is great here in Florida.  Historically they’ve been a great school especially on defense and have had multiple first round DBs.  It may be a school that if I want to be part of a rebuild we could bring Florida back into national championship contention.
