Four-Star CB Selman Bridges names Top 9
Four-star cornerback Selman Bridges of Temple (TX) Lake Belton has narrowed his list to nine schools– Texas, Arkansas, USC, TCU, Oregon, Texas Tech, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-4, 170 pounder quickly discussed his finalists.
Texas – Me and coach Sark and coach Joseph are really locked in.
Arkansas – The defensive staff is great. We have a great bond.
USC – It’s a great environment with great coaches.
TCU – They are recruiting me hard.
Oregon – It’s a place to see. I want to get to know the coaching staff more.
Texas Tech– It’s a great coaching staff coach McGuire brought in.
LSU– I’m still getting to know the coaching staff but it’s DBU.
Oklahoma– Coach Jay is a great coach and wants to build a relationship with me.
Texas A&M – They show a lot of love and support.
Bridges ranks as the No. 46 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 6 cornerback and the No. 10 player in the state of Texas.

“Selman Bridges recorded 46 tackles, had six pass breakups and returned one of his two interceptions for a touchdown as a junior for Temple (Texas) Lake Belton. The success helped him earn all-area and second-team all-district honors in 2022. Bridges also competes for the Lake Belton basketball and track teams. As a sophomore, he had 200-meter dash times of 22.91, 23.09 and 23.13 seconds. He also was a member of Lake Belton’s Texas 5A regional-qualifying 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams.”
