4-star cornerback Kayin Lee sets busy visit weekend
After decommitting from Georgia late last month, Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove cornerback Kayin Lee has been a wanted man.
LSU, Cincinnati, Arkansas and Texas were among the schools who had recently offered before he backed off his pledge with the Bulldogs. But a group of schools just across the border in Florida are also in pursuit. And Lee will be making his way through the Sunshine State next weekend with four visits scheduled between Friday and Sunay.
Lee announced Tuesday that he will trip to UCF on Friday, then Florida on Saturday before hitting HBCU Florida A&M and Florida State on Sunday.
Lee is the No. 136 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 16 cornerback and the No. 11 junior prospect in Georgia.

Big Ten, SEC schools in pursuit of Kayin Lee
After his decommitment from Georgia, Lee has seen a resurgence in his recruiting. But a couple teams could be making major pushes, according to On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman.
“The recent Georgia decommitment is beginning to put the pieces back in place to restart his recruitment,” Spiegelman wrote earlier this month. “Lee was highly coveted by Ohio State before pledging in-state to the Bulldogs, and there’s a strong sense that the Buckeyes are prepared to re-engage the Peach State star. Arkansas and Florida are two other SEC teams in play, a source told On3. There are obvious connections to Razorbacks assistant Jimmy Smith and Lee’s high school, and first-year Gators assistant Corey Raymond was pursuing Lee at his previous stop in Baton Rouge. Don’t dismiss Georgia just yet either.”
