Four-Star DB Tae Harris commits to Clemson

Four-star defensive back Tae Harris of Cedartown (GA) High announced his commitment to Clemson Monday morning.

The 6-foot, 195 pounder was previously committed to Georgia.

“Relationships,” Harris said. “I am a priority to them and they recruited well and did it the right way. It’s home and I can play early there with my talent I can definitely make an impact.”

The Peach State defensive back joins coach Dabo Swinney and the Tigers’ Top 5 2025 class. He is accompanied by four-star quarterback Blake Herbert, four-star running back Gideon Davidson, and others.

Harris ranks as the No. 194 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 26 cornerback and the No. 27 player in the state of Georgia.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV).
