4-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall names top 12 schools
Jacksonville (Fla.) Westside defensive lineman Jordan Hall is down to 12 schools, he announced Saturday on Twitter.
Hall is the No. 181 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 28 defensive lineman and the No. 36 junior prospect in Florida.
The Industry Comparison shows On3 is much higher on Hall than the rest of the recruiting industry, tabbing him as the country’s No. 51 overall prospect, No. 6 defensive lineman and No. 10 Sunshine State player.
Included in his list of 12 are: Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oregon, South Carolina and USC.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Hall has been a busy traveler this month, tripping to Florida and Florida State the first weekend of the month before heading to South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia in the past 10 days. He picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide on his visit, adding them to a long list of schools pursuing him.

Hall is taking a patient approach with his recruitment
Regardless of how future visits play out, do not expect Hall to pull himself off the market anytime soon. He is relishing every moment of the recruiting process and plans on journeying out to a flurry of campuses over the next several months.
“I don’t have a list right now,” Jordan Hall told GatorsOnline earlier this month. “I’m in the process of just having fun, building relationships, sightseeing and seeing facilities, talking to players and former players, and being able to grasp that aspect on what the university really has to bring. I’m having fun with it.
“… Hopefully, I will narrow down my list either before or after my spring game. I’ll probably narrow down my list in May. I don’t want to cut it down too short because I have a lot of time left. I’m not going to be one of those early enrollee players, so February of next year I’ll be set on making my decision.”
