Tyler (Texas) Legacy defensive lineman Jordan Renaud is down to eight schools, he announced Thursday on Instagram.

Renaud is the No. 66 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 12 defensive lineman and the No. 11 prospect in Texas.

The list of schools includes Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and TCU.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder has amassed nearly two dozens offered, but has largely focused his attention on these schools so far. He camped at and took an unofficial visit to Texas A&M this summer, and the Aggies are considered the odds-on favorites to land him.

As a junior this season at Tyler Legacy, his first playing high school football in the Lone Star State, Jordan Renaud registered 51 tackles, five tackles for a loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, a forced fumble and an interception.
