2023 Platte County (Mo.) High four-star EDGE Chandavian Bradley is set to return to Texas A&M on June 17th for an official visit, the four-star announced on Twitter late Saturday night.

This will be Bradley’s second visit to College Station. The four-star was offered by Texas A&M back in February and made his first visit down in April, which cemented the Aggies as a top school for him.

“Everybody always says ‘Everything’s bigger in Texas’…..I expected that but not to the extant that I got to see,” he said after his first visit. “There’s just so much more than you’d really think that was there.”

He added.

“Knowing that this is what their recruiting is like, and I know a lot of these guys really love A&M….I mean, it just shows something within the school,” he said. “That there’s just a different type of culture and a different type of thing going on there.”

Bradley is coming off recent visits to Tennessee and Missouri and has upcoming visits to Clemson, South Carolina and USC this month.

The recent visit to Tennessee was eye-opening and the Volunteers are trending in the four-star’s recruitment per the On3 Recruiting prediction Machine, with a 70.8% chance to land the Missouri native. Texas A&M currently trails in second with an 18.8% chance to land Bradley.

The Aggies will have a chance to swing momentum back their way when the four-star visits later this month.

For Bradley, the opportunity to make a difference early at Texas A&M stands out. Though the Aggies signed eight defensive linemen in the 2022 cycle, including four five-stars, non have the physical profile of Bradley, who stands nearly 6-foot-6 and right around 215 pounds, with the ability to rush the passer effectively and truly drop into coverage and hold his own in space.

“I know I can make a difference as soon as I get there,” he previously told Aggie Scoop. “Because they don’t have like that true position where they can fully move him from pass rushing to covering and everything else.”

The staff has pitched the four-star on the ‘Buck’ position in the defense, a role that freshman Anthony Lucas currently plays that would have Bradley moving all over the defensive front, rushing off the edge in a two-point stance, with his hand in the dirt, inside to the two or three-technique and in coverage in certain situations.

Outside of Tennessee and Miami, USC and Oregon are two other schools high on his list. Local schools like Iowa State and Kansas have been involved for some time and shouldn’t be counted out as dark horse contenders in his recruitment.

Bradley ranks as the No. 32 prospect and No. 5 EDGE nationally in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Bradley currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $193K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date; it rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Editor’s note: Bradley notified Aggie Scoop that this visit will be an official visit. The article has been adjusted accordingly.
