Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman EDGE Cyrus Moss is racking up the frequent flyer miles this weekend.

Moss tweeted Friday afternoon that he will be at both USC and Miami this weekend, criss-crossing the country for his final two official visits.

He is the No. 82 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 8 EDGE and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Nevada.

Both the Trojans and Hurricanes are making a big sure late in his recruitment, particularly after Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal left the Ducks for Miami this week. Cristobal has continued his pursuit of Moss, and getting him on campus just days before National Signing Day is a huge win.

USC, meanwhile, has pushed hard since the hiring of Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley after being left out of Moss’ top three a few weeks ago. Of that group, Arizona State is the only school that remains in contention alongside the Trojans and Hurricanes.

Friday night, Moss posted a picture with Riley in Los Angeles on the first day of his visit.

Cyrus Moss likely to announce at All-American game

Moss is still undecided on exactly when he will reveal his decision. It could be December 15, the day he signs. Or he could sign, then hold off his announcement until the Adidas All-America Bowl January 8.

That will be decided in the coming weeks. As will his decision. Moss said this a couple of weeks ago when he trimmed his list to three.

“In the end, Cyrus Moss said, “I will go off feeling more than anything.”
