Four-Star EDGE Daniel "DD" Holmes names Top 6

Four-star EDGE Daniel “DD” Holmes of Washington DC Gonzaga High has narrowed his list to six schools– Rutgers, Michigan, Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, and Maryland.

The 6-foot-6, 245 pounder quickly discussed his finalists.

Rutgers: Coach Watson the DL coach has been GREAT in my recruitment. He has shown so much love and he has products at the next level.                      

Michigan: Big time football and big time degree!                   

Florida State: Coach JP has been consistent in my recruitment and the competitive edge they have is very attractive!                                                                                

Florida: Great football on the highest stage with great people!                                                                                   

South Carolina: That DMV to SC pipeline is strong for a reason. They have great people there with self motivated players which creates a great environment.                                                                                   

Maryland: The home team has been showing love for a long time being my first offer. Coach Locks is a very relatable and personable guy being from the DMV which is huge coming from the head coach.

Holmes ranks as the No. 292 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 20 EDGE and the No. 2 player in Washington DC.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
