Four-Star LB Jamonta Waller names Top 10
Four-star linebacker Jamonta Waller of Picayune (MS) Memorial High has narrowed his list to ten schools.
The 6-foot-2, 230 pounder is down to the following: Penn State, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
Waller discussed his finalists with On3.
Penn State – Coach Diaz says I can be the next Micah Parsons and he believes in me and that’s my favorite player so I know how they’d use me.
Florida – Coach Armstrong and I have had a special relationship ever since he was at Southern Miss. Even then, he’s been saying the same thing about it’s a must he coach me.
Georgia – Coach Schumann says that he doesn’t just want to develop me on the field, he wants to develop me off the field. We’re both back to back champions so we both have the same qualities and ambitions to win.
Auburn – Coach Roberts and his whole staff calls me or messages me daily and tells me how much of a need I am for them. It’s definitely an amazing feeling.
Texas A&M – Coach Price coached Myles Garrett and the first thing he told me was to break his freshman sack record. Why not do it being an Aggie?
Alabama – Coach Hutzler said I have the ability to be the next great LB to come to Bama and he wants to make that happen.
