Fairfax (Va.) linebacker Tony Rojas named his top four schools earlier this week, and he now has official visits locked in to all four of them.

Rojas is the No. 184 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 14 linebacker and the No. 3 prospect in Virginia.

On3 is a good bit higher on Rojas than the rest of the recruiting industry, according to the Industry Comparison. In the most recent On300 rankings, Rojas ranked as the country’s No. 125 prospect and No. 6 linebacker.

After picking up more than 20 offers, Rojas narrowed his list to Clemson, Miami, Penn State and Georgia and promptly locked in visits.

He’ll first trip to Clemson the first weekend of June. He will follow that up with trips to Miami (June 9-11), Penn State (June 17-19), and Georgia (June 24-26).

Tony Rojas very high on each of his finalists

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder talked to On3’s Hayes Fawcett about each of the finalists:

Georgia: “They just produce an insane amount of linebackers to the NFL as you saw in the draft. The people and how intelligent the coaches are there standout as well.”

Clemson: “Clemson is just a complete organization that has the full package when it comes down to the DC and LB coach that is known as the Bill Belichick of college football. And how their facilities are always upgrading.”

Miami: “It has always been a dream to live in the city and the environment with the people is awesome.”

Penn State: “[It’s] a family-orientated school that doesn’t stop bugging you and the intensity of the games and practices are almost unmatched. The relationship I have with the coaches is just great from a player-coach perspective.”

Penn State is currently the overwhelming favorite to land Rojas, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Nittany Lions a 94.5 percent chance of securing his commitment.
