Four-Star OT Owen Strebig commits to Notre Dame
Four-star offensive tackle Owen Strebig of Waukesha (WI) Catholic Memorial announced his commitment to Notre Dame Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-8, 295 pounder chose the Fighting Irish over Wisconsin, Miami, and others.
“Notre Dame is different from any other school in the country. You can get the best of both worlds. A high quality degree and play for a national championship contender year in and year out. I can’t wait to be a part of the ND tradition and fanbase.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“Coach Freeman and Coach Rudolph have such a great relationship with me and my family. They see me playing tackle at ND. They have truly treated me like a priority.”
