In a previous interview with On3, Jones discussed the Gators and the Hokies.

Florida: “What I like about Florida is the family feeling! Ever since the old coach left and the new coaching staff arrived and I came on campus, every time I visited I became comfortable every time. Just the way they bring me in like I was apart of the team really impacted my view on the them! Plus, they are down to earth people and they want what’s best for you and won’t really sugar coat things. I love how they run most of everything through there skilled forwards that can mostly do anything on the court!”

Virginia Tech: “What I like about Virginia Tech is the way they use the forwards and how versatile the forwards are. Plus they are a great shooting team, which is my best attribute. My relationship with coach Young has definitely grown over the past couple of weeks and I have great relationship with Coach Giltner as well!”

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Jones is the No. 66 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 9 power forward prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
