Four-Star RB James Peoples names Top 6

Four-star running back James Peoples of San Antonio (TX) Veterans Memorial High is down to six schools— Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, TCU, and Oregon.

The 5-foot-11, 196 pounder went in-depth on his finalists.

Ohio State

“Their coaching staff is amazing top to bottom! Me and Coach Alfords relationship is special, we have deep in depth conversations about not only football but life and the development of the person. We talk ball a whole lot as well as how I fit the scheme and stretch the field and how I can impact the offense with all of my attributes. We also work on the  development of my football IQ, and  working on my mental part of the game as well as physical. My family is up in Ohio and we know how it would be a convenience for them to be close.  Also Coach Day emphasizes how I fit the mold of a Buckeye and are a top priority for them.”

Texas

Oklahoma

Coach Venables is on a mission at OU called soul mission that really speaks to me, It’s something bigger than football “it’s about the players he says and pouring into them”. Coach Venables and I talk about a lot of things but they believe I play a big part in being the change at OU and bringing trophies back to the Name! Coach Murray is a special coach he emphasizes family and how the coaching staff is like family, he has experience in a place I want to get to and is always giving me the keys to the puzzle and breaks the game down.” 

Alabama

“The coaching staff at Alabama is great, Coach Saban has a plan in place that has worked for a lot of running backs and has proven successful in their careers. Alabama football has a rich history in the running game and Coach Hutzler Coach Saban really emphasizes that when we talk! Our relationship is still building but it’s definitely a special place!”

TCU
