Four-star safety Kodi Decambra of Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman High has narrowed his list to six schools— Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Oregon State, Colorado, and Hawaii.

The 6-foot, 175 pounder went in-depth on his finalists.

Oregon

“The vibe I get from them is crazy,” Decambra said. “Very family oriented but yet very competitive. An overall impressive school and athletic program.”

Washington

“They’re known for their DBU and I’m excited to see how they rebuild with their new staff.”

Arizona

“I can’t wait to see how they rebuild and they have quite a bit of Polyneisian players and staff.”

Oregon State

“They have always been up there since I first visited,” Decambra said. “Coach Blue Adams is a great coach and knows a lot about how to better a DB.”

Colorado

“I was very impressed when I first visited and have been up there since,” Decambra said. “Coach Maxie is a determined coach and is a well known DB coach across the states.”

Hawaii

“It’s my home state, and with Coach Timmy Chang as the new head coach, that’s a plus,” Decambra said. “He brought in his teammates from when he played back at Hawaii and one of those teammates was my coach at Gorman, Chris Brown. I can’t wait to see how Coach Timmy would build the program back to how it was when I was growing up.”

Kodi Decambra ranks as the No. 251 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No.22 safety and the No. 4 player in the state of Nevada.
