Four-star shooting guard Davin Cosby down to 7 schools
Raleigh (N.C.) Word of God four-star Davin Cosby tells On3 he’s down to seven schools: Alabama, Auburn, LSU, NC State, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
The 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard officially visited Wake Forest on the final days of July and tripped to NC State unofficially earlier this month. Cosby also has four official visits scheduled: Virginia on August 26th, Alabama on September 3rd, Tennessee on October 15th, and LSU on October 22nd.
Editors note: Auburn has not yet officially Cosby, but the Tigers have interest in the four-star prospect. Cosby, a Richmond native, also received offers from USC, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, and others.
Cosby is the No. 161 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 36 shooting guard and the No. 7 player in the state of North Carolina.
On3’s evaluators are much higher on Cosby, ranking him 90th overall in the country.
