Four-star shooting guard Gehrig Normand sets commitment date

Class of 2023 four-star prospect Gehrig Normand will announce his college decision on Tuesday, August 2nd, he told On3.

The 6-foot-6, 175-pound shooting guard out of North Richland Hills (Texas) Birdville is fresh off an official visit to Michigan State over the weekend. This summer, Normand also visited Texas, Missouri, and Wisconsin. He was also scheduled to see Tennessee on September 1st but that visit has now been canceled. Auburn, Illinois, Oklahoma State, and others also extended offers.

Normand is the No. 81 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. On3’s evaluators are higher on him, ranking him 69th nationally and the No. 15 shooting guard.
